Professional Liability Insurance

As a BCASW member, you have access to professional liability insurance and a range of business insurance products through the CASW-BMS Insurance Program at preferred member rates. An active BCASW membership is required to access these exclusive benefits. Please note that your BCASW membership number must be used when applying; your BC College of Social Workers registration number cannot be used.

Term Life, Critical Illness, and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance

iA Financial Group designed a group insurance program exclusively for members of the BC Association of Social Workers. Members can purchase coverage for themselves, their spouse, and dependent children.

  • Term Life Insurance: up to $500,000 of Term Life Insurance coverage is available.
  • Critical Illness Insurance: up to $500,000 can be paid as a lump sum in the event of a life-altering illness.
  • Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance: coverage can provide a benefit payable for as much as $500,000.
