Membership and Registration are Different

BCASW is the professional association for social workers in British Columbia. We do not regulate the profession or issue licences to practise. Professional registration is managed by the BC College of Social Workers (BCCSW). Most social workers choose to belong to both organizations because each provides different services and supports.
