Advocacy Circle
The Advocacy Circle is a group of volunteers established to promote and collaborate on advocacy education and action consistent with the goals, values, and priorities of the organization within the framework of our Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice. The intent of the Advocacy Circle is to bring people together around advocacy learning and action. We provide support, share learning opportunities, and expertise. We welcome contributions. Current Activities
MSW and PhD Student Articles on Advocacy Competition
The BCASW Advocacy Circle is calling for short articles written by MSW and PhD social work students. Articles will be a maximum of 1500 words. The type(s) of advocacy and the fields of practice are open. Credit will be given for illustrated examples of how the skills were used. The student writing the most useful/interesting and creative article will have it published in Perspectives (subject to Editorial review) and be awarded a prize by BCASW.
