Encompassing a vast and mountainous geographical area in the Southern Interior of British Columbia (BC), the social workers that reside within the Kootenay region are diverse. Our branch consists of numerous social workers employed in diverse social work settings possessing unique knowledge, skills as well as experiences that stem from practicing in rural and remote communities.
If you are a BCASW member and wish to get involved on the Kootenay branch, contact Kimberly Stanyer at bcaswktnbranch [at] gmail.com as the branch currently has several branch executive positions available.
