2. To offer peer training every two or three months. The Northern BCASW education committee plans on offering training on weekend dates during the next year. Some of the topics are:
• Alternative Dispute Training Options
(FEB 2007)
• Team development and Training
• Private practice training for certification
• Counseling methods

•
We are looking for topics and volunteer trainers/educators – From all over our Northern Region …. GET INVOLVED!

3. To increase profiles of Social Work locally and provincially. As a profession we recognize that Social Workers need to educate the community about who we are and the valuable role we play at a professional level. The goal is to continue to publish, educate and promote Social Work. If you, or if you know of others, have been active in increasing Social Work please let us know!
